Search on DFNS just got a major upgrade. Wallet search in the dashboard has been rebuilt on a proper full-text search engine, so you can now find any wallet instantly by name, tag, address, or ID, and search stays fast as your wallet count grows into the thousands and beyond.
Finding a wallet at scale
Institutions running on DFNS often manage large numbers of wallets, organized by name and tags across teams, products, customers, and treasury functions. Finding a specific one quickly is an everyday operational need. Previously, locating a wallet by name meant working through lists. Now you go straight to the wallet you want.
What you can search
A single search bar covers the ways you actually look for a wallet:
- Name and tags, with full-text matching and results ranked by relevance, so the closest match surfaces first
- Address, paste a full address for an exact match
- Wallet ID, paste a full ID for an exact match
You can also filter results by network to narrow down quickly.
How matching works
Search matches whole words and their stems rather than partial fragments. Searching “running” will find a wallet tagged “run,” for example. Addresses and wallet IDs match on the full value, so paste the complete string when you search by one of those. This keeps search fast and accurate even across very large wallet sets.
What’s next
This is the first step in a broader investment in search. Planned improvements include typo tolerance and fuzzy matching for forgiving, approximate searches, wider text and language coverage, and extending fast search beyond wallets to more of the objects you work with across the platform.
