Noah Cornwell
Noah Cornwell, the former Vice President of Engineering at the cryptocurrency exchange and custodian Gemini, joined Dfns as CTO today. He brings almost seven years of experience from Gemini, along with his expertise in financial technology from previous roles at MIK Fund Services and Boston Technologies Inc. As Dfns works on developing new wallet-as-a-service solutions for enterprise and consumer applications in web3, Noah’s thorough knowledge of what financial technology enterprises need will greatly benefit the company's product-led growth.
“Dfns is transforming the digital world as we know it by leveraging the potential of decentralized technologies. I look forward to driving technology strategy, inspiring innovation, and leading a remarkable team dedicated to making it safe and simple for developers to build and launch compliance friendly wallet infrastructure products.”
– Noah Cornwell, CTO of Dfns
John Conneely
John Conneely joins Dfns with more than five years of experience building institutional custody solutions for leading blockchain and crypto companies like Genesis, Bakkt, and DACC. He will leverage his expertise to drive the success of Dfns' existing partnerships and expand into new business opportunities. John plays a key role in challenging the "not your keys, not your crypto" misconception and educating the market on the nuances of digital asset custodianship. He will spearhead the development of new partnerships, further expanding Dfns' client base in the US.
“Digital asset wallets have evolved significantly over the past 6 years, however there are still significant gaps that need to be addressed if as an industry we look to on board the next billion plus crypto users. Dfns, with its industry leading MPC technology as well as innovative and programmable APIs, are laser focused in helping banks, trading apps, payment solutions and more, in abstracting away all the complexities of key management so that our clients can focus on what matters most, user experience.”
– John Conneely, VP Business Development of Dfns
